Inspired by the Naschmarkt*, Vienna

(*) Vienna's Foodmarket

Markets are always one of my favorite places to visit in a city. A must see on each trip. In Vienna, I am lucky enough to live very close to the most famous market: the Naschmarkt. Noisy, colourful, multicultural, and often crowded - sometimes with too many tourists - it is a place for inspiration.

Each visit to the market and its surrounding streets is a short trip to the Middle East, to India, to China... and of course - to Austria, especially on Saturday mornings - with the improvised street stalls of the farmers who sell their freshest regional seasonal products.
