Eatnologist - That Recipe on my Mind

Eatnologist is a space for exploring the connections between painting and cooking.

By turning my experiences into sketches and through the act of painting, images gradually become flavours and recipes begin to take shape.

Food has always been more than nourishment to me. An aroma can suddenly bring back an image or a memory. In the same way, an image, a texture, or a colour can suggest a flavour. Through their relationships and correspondences, recipes begin to emerge.

For me, impressions can become part of the ingredients list.

About me

I am a mixture. Spanish and Austrian. Born in Spain, living and working in Vienna.

I am curious and I like to explore. I collect places, conversations, colours, textures, and everyday moments, recording what inspires me in notes and sketchbooks. Many of these fragments find their way into my paintings and recipes.

The one that is in my head. That Recipe on My Mind.
